Pre-pilot: looking for a first Canadian clinic
A voice and virtual assistant for Canadian dental clinics
Cognidentrix is an agentic assistant for the whole practice: the front desk, the clinical team and patients. It works in English and French, and your staff approve every note and every claim.
Pilot enrolment opens soon.
What it does
Front desk
Turns call notes into follow-up tasks, flags urgent calls, and drafts recall and booking work for staff to review.
Clinical team
Drafts clinical notes from dictation in English or French. A clinician reviews, edits and signs them.
Patients
Prepares plain-language explanations of a treatment plan. Staff review each one before a patient sees it.
Insurance claims
Prepares claim details for a person to check and submit. The assistant does not submit claims or promise coverage.
How it works
- Listen and read. Speech is transcribed on a small computer in the clinic, in English or French.
- Draft. The assistant fills in structured drafts: notes, tasks, explanations and claim details.
- Review. Staff check, edit and approve. Nothing is signed or submitted without a person.
- Hand off. Approved work goes to your practice management system through a file exchange.
Works alongside your practice management system
Cognidentrix is PMS-agnostic. There is no direct integration with any PMS vendor yet. Today it reads schedule exports and produces files that staff enter into the PMS by hand.
People stay in charge
- The assistant never signs clinical notes. A clinician does.
- The assistant never submits insurance claims. Staff do.
- The assistant never guarantees coverage.
- Staff sign in with a passkey or biometric, and are asked to confirm again before sensitive actions.
Privacy by design
- Designed for PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25.
- Speech recognition and AI run on a computer in the clinic. Cloud processing is used only as a fallback, and only with the patient's consent.
- Patient details are encrypted when stored, and actions are recorded in an audit log.
- We do not claim any third-party certification.
Questions
- Can my clinic use it today?
- Not yet in general. Cognidentrix is in pre-pilot, and we are looking for a first clinic in Canada to pilot it with.
- Which practice management systems does it work with?
- None directly yet. It exchanges files with your PMS, and staff enter the results by hand.
- Does it work in French?
- Yes. It is built for English and French from the start.
- Does it submit claims through CDAnet?
- No. It prepares claim details, and a person reviews and submits them.
